Development of the Company

  • 1989

    The management checked the readiness of the factory before officially open the production line.

  • 1991

    Dr. Boonsong Srifuengfoong, President, and Dr. Tiam Chokwattana, Chief Executive Officer of Saha Pathanapibul or the distributor of Prung Thip salt, joined the official lunch of  Prung Thip salt

  • 1993

    H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn was the president of the National Commission for Control of Iodine Deficiency. She visited the factory and saw the production line of Prung Thip iodized salt.

  • 1994

    Mr.Sathit Khanchanawisittaphol (Left), the founder of Chew Huad Company Limited or the manufacturer of Maekkrua oyster sauce, has trusted in and used TRS refined salt for over 20 years.

  • 1996

    Dr. Boonsong Srifuengfoong and the management, offered salt to H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in order to meet her desires to make Thai children smart and provide them iodine during the 50th anniversary of H.M. the king’s coronation.

     

    The company and the Commission for the Elimination of Iodine Deficiency (Ministry of Public Health and Thai Red Cross Society) conducted an activity, “Tuk Krua Thai Ja Chai Tare Klur Boripok Serm Iodine (Meaning: All family will only consume iodized salt.).”

     

    Thai Refinrd Salt Company Limited is the manufacture of one million packs of salt gave the salt to the people who faced iodine deficiency problem in the northern part.

    The company received the White Factory Award from the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of
    Industry, Thailand.

  • 2001

    The company received the Halal certificate from the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand.

  • 2002

    The company was certified according to ISO 9001 standard.

  • 2003

    The company was certified according to GMP standard. 

  • 2004

    The company was certified according to HACCP standard. 

  • 2007

    The company increased its production capacity to 1,550,000 tons per year.

  • 2008

    The company received the Thailand Brand from Department of Export Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Thailand.

  • 2014

    The company received the Thailand Trusted Mark from the Department of Export Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Thailand.
