Refined Salt

        Thai Refined Salt Co., Ltd., which is the first and biggest one producing refined salt in Thailand and Asia with the factory in Phimai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The factory uses modern production technology with the production capacity of 1,550,000 tons per year. Thus, it can produce high quality, white and clean refined salt.

Sea Salt

        Mostly, sea salt is produced in the areas close to the sea such as Samut Sakhon, Petchburi, Chachoengsao and Chonburi. Normally, the sea salt is produced two times a year. Since the dry season in Thailand takes about half a year, the salt fields start from November to May.

        Salt fields are prepared according to the “principles of evaporation and crystallization”. Accordingly, the seawater is evaporated with the heat from the sunlight until the water level reaches the lowest level. After it is saturated, it will be crystallized.

Rock Salt

        It is produced from the saltwater 50 meters underground that is found in the northern east provinces such as Chaiyaphum, Maha Sarakam, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, and Sakon Nakhon.

     This product consists of sodium chloride is an important part. It is appropriate for consumption and industrial production. It is white powder or crystals of rock salt from underground or the natural brine from the purification process.

     The process states from the preparation of raw water. After sucking the saline from the underground, it is then transferred to the reservoir in order to let the adulterated things and heavy metals that are dangerous for humans precipitate. The result is the refined saline. The saline is then evaporated and centrifuged.

    It must be the salt consisting of sodium chloride for 97% or higher (according to the dry standard). It may be powder or fine and white crystals without visible foreign matters. It is kept in a clean and durable container with completely sealed cover and moisture prevention.

     Since it is white and clean salt granules without adulterated things and with low moisture, it can be ensure that it is appropriate for industrial uses and household consumption.

This is because it is needed in various industries such as food, cold storage, soy sauce, and animal feed industries as well as industrial water system and other systems.

Human

   - Human consumes salt directly and indirectly from sources such as fish fermentation, soy sauce, fish sauce and food preparation.

   - Salt is very important for human.

   - If a person does not consume enough iodized salt for his/her body, then the person may have goiter, congenital hypothyroidism, low IQ development, and low physical development.

Animal

   - Salt is as very important to animals as humans.

   - Herbivorous animals that consume salt from salt earth are such as elephant, wild elephant, barking deer, wild deer, Banteng, gaur, and boar.
