Production Processes

1. Preparation Process
Pure water is injected into and liquefies the underground salt strata at the depth of 300 meters, approximately, with advanced technologies. The raw brine will has high purity.
2. Purification Process
The raw brine is kept in the large storage tanks and then transferred to the reactors in order to remove adulterated things and unwanted heavy metals by sedimentation process at the bottom of the reactions. When the sediments are purged from the reactors, the remaining solution is the purified brine that is then transferred to and kept in the storage tanks before entering the evaporation process in order to produce the refined salt.
3. Evaporation Process
The purified brine is heated and poured into the hot evaporator at the temperature of 120 C, approximately. The water will evaporate. The brine will be concentrated and then crystallize. The salt granules will appear at the bottom of the evaporator. The salt granules contain brine. These are called as “salt slurry”.
4. Centrifugation and Drying Processes

The salt slurry is transferred to the centrifuge in order to separate water from the salt granules. The refined salt will have moisture that is not higher than 2.5% of its weight. Some of the salt will be transferred by a belt and then separately stored for different industrial uses.

The remaining salt will be iodized according to the standards of the Ministry of Public Health, and then transferred to the dryer. The refilled salt will have fine granules and moisture of not higher than 0.15%.
5. Packing Process
The  refined salt is then  conveyed by the belt to the set of automatic  packing machines in order to be packed for various industrial uses under the brand name of “TRS”. The portion of the iodized refined salt will be under the brand name of “Prung Thip”.
Moreover, the company exports the salt to several countries in the Asia Pacific region under more than 10 other brand names.
